MET Technician

Our client, a reputable nationwide accident repair centre based in Thurrock, is seeking a highly skilled ATA MET Technician to join their successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MET Technician looking to develop their career within a state-of-the-art bodyshop environment. • Basic salary up to 59,443.02 per annum

• Monday to Friday working schedule, no weekend shifts

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs to a high standard as an ATA MET Technician
• Perform steering geometry alignment and adjustments
• Carry out glazing and minor panel repairs
• Prepare and prime panels to first masking stage
• Evacuate and recharge vehicle air conditioning systems
• Work with plastic repairs
• Maintain a high productivity rate
• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with team members
• Prioritise reworks and follow safety procedures diligently

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an ATA MET Technician in a busy bodyshop environment
• Eye for detail and quality awareness
• Strong communication skills and competent in reading and writing English
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• NVQ Level 3 or senior ATA accreditation preferred
• Own tools and equipment
• Full UK driving licence
