The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you ll play a hands-on role in the kitchen, taking real ownership of your section and building skills that can take you to the next level in your career. You ll work closely with a supportive team, gaining exposure to high standards, fast service and a dynamic environment where no two shifts are the same.

From prepping fresh ingredients to plating dishes during busy service, you ll develop speed, consistency, and confidence. If you're looking to grow into a senior role such as Sous Chef, this is the perfect place to do it.

This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week.

The Club

The Black Cat Club is an exciting venue on Park Row, Leeds. We bring together live sports, music, and interactive gaming in a high-energy setting. With multiple screens for live sports and interactive games like darts and shuffleboard, we offer our guests a unique socialising experience. Our kitchen delivers an incredible menu focused on fresh, quality ingredients.

We offer competitive hourly rates of up to £15.50 per hour inclusive of service charge (100% of the service charge goes equally to the staff at a per hour rate regardless of position).

The Person

• At least 2 years of kitchen experience in a fresh food environment
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
• Ambitious and eager to contribute to the success of the business
• Legal right to work in the UK without restrictions
• A team player, with the ability to work confidently and consistently to the highest standards with excellent attention to detail.
• Drive and determination to achieve performance and standards, both operationally and customer focused.
