Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Document Controller on a 4 Month Contract, based in Middlesbrough
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. You will play a key part in supporting project teams by ensuring all documentation is properly stored, updated, and distributed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain document control systems and procedures
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and easily accessible
- Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Monitor document revisions and maintain logs of changes
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory documentation standards
- Support project teams with document submissions and approvals
- Archive and retrieve documents as required
Requirements
- Proven experience working on site as a Document Controller
- EDMS experience.
- Background in substation and/or renewable energy, construction or utilities background.
- Comfortable being fully site-based
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction documentation processes
- Experience managing drawings, RFIs, technical submissions, and document registers
- Ability to liaise effectively with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Managing and maintaining all site documentation
- Controlling drawing revisions and ensuring correct distribution
- Supporting project teams with document tracking and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with project and company document control procedures
- Maintaining accurate records for audits and handover
- 4-month rolling contract
- Rates negotiable
- Immediate start preferred
