Vehicle Technician

• Competitive basic salary up to 32,000, negotiable based on experience
• Additional on-target bonus of up to 10,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday working hours from 08:00 to 17:30, with no weekend work

Duties as the Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnose and repair faults on light commercial vehicles, ensuring work complies with manufacturer standards
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks and video diagnostics
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance on commercial vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Maintain high levels of technical knowledge through ongoing training and development
• Liaise effectively with service advisors and managers regarding vehicle issues
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic within an automotive environment
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent; Level 2 candidates may be considered depending on experience
• Strong diagnostic skills with a pragmatic approach to repairs and servicing
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge further through manufacturer training
• Full UK driving licence, preferably clean
• Ability to adhere to specific work processes and standards
