Role Overview Assembly Fitter - Valves Department We are looking for skilled individuals to join our team as Assembly Fitters within the Valves department. Aerospace experience is beneficial but not essential. The ability to read and understand technical drawings is required, and part of the interview process will involve reviewing a drawing and answering related questions. Key Responsibilities Assemble a variety of valves using mechanical hand tools, torque drivers/wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, and other relevant equipment Support improved turnaround times for critical civil and military contract units by working efficiently and accurately Follow all safe working practices and comply with site regulations Work closely with Engineers and wider teams to drive quality improvements, reduce costs, and support on-time delivery Demonstrate strong teamwork, independence, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Work in accordance with 5S standards Core shift hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:15, Friday 7:30-11:30 Candidates interested in early and late shift patterns are also welcome We require individuals capable of assembling aerospace components using a variety of methods and performing product testing in line with specification and test requirements. Once trained, you should be able to work independently while maintaining a cooperative and flexible approach.
