Enterprise Business Lead

Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier is looking for an Enterprise Business Lead to join them on a contract basis at their site in Harlow, Essex. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold the British nationality and be eligible to obtain full SC Clearance (able to start on base line clearance) 12 month initial contract. Competitive rate, inside IR35 Based in Harlow, 40% remote working What You Will Do We are seeking a strategic and experienced Enterprise Business Lead to support a major ERP transformation programme as part of the Process & Systems Transformation (PST). This role will ensure successful design and delivery of change through stakeholder collaboration to define priorities, manage risks, and optimise business processes for long-term value, focus on ensuring UK business change impacts are fully understood and managed, while enabling successful localisation of global processes. The role requires strong leadership and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams. Key Responsibilities: Identify, assess, and manage UK-specific business change impacts resulting from the ERP upgrade. Ensure business readiness and adoption through effective change planning and execution. Collaborate with global process owners to adapt and localise global ERP processes for the UK market. Ensure UK regulatory, operational, and business requirements are incorporated without compromising global standards. Act as the primary liaison between UK business units and the global transformation programme. Facilitate workshops, working groups, and decision-making forums to align stakeholders. Lead the identification of gaps between global ERP design and UK business needs. Support solution design and validation to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes. Provide clear and timely reporting on UK business readiness, risks, and issues. Contribute to programme governance, ensuring UK interests are represented. Experience Required: Proven experience in leading business transformation initiatives, ideally involving ERP upgrades (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Strong understanding of UK business operations, regulatory requirements, and change management practices. Experience working in a global programme environment with complex stakeholder landscapes. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across business and technology teams. Key Competencies: Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise process frameworks Understanding of business change methodologies Ability to interpret process maps, data flows, and business requirements Strategic thinking and business acumen Strong communication and facilitation skills Stakeholder management and relationship building Problem-solving and decision-making Proficiency in tools for documentation, collaboration, and reporting (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence)
