Accounts & Claims Technician - London (Hybrid)

A leading, fast-growing global insurance broker is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-driven Accounts & Claims Technician to join its London team. The Role

You will play a key role in supporting brokers and technicians across both accounts and claims functions. This is a varied position involving premium processing, claims administration, documentation handling and general team support. You'll work closely with internal departments, insurers and clients to ensure smooth, accurate and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

General Support

  • Provide administrative support including photocopying, filing and scanning.
  • Maintain an organised filing system and ensure documents are accurately stored.
  • Assist the wider team with ad hoc tasks and departmental duties.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and mandatory training.

Premium Processing

  • Handle all aspects of premium processing as directed.
  • Process and monitor incoming post.
  • Create and maintain files and process premium movements.
  • Produce and issue client/market documentation.
  • Handle premium submissions via A&S.
  • Input documentation into internal systems.
  • Produce accurate statistics and reports when required.
  • Liaise with accounts teams to ensure prompt settlement of balances.
  • Resolve queries and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Claims Processing

  • Manage claims and accounting processes from first notification through to settlement.
  • Process and monitor incoming post and maintain claims files.
  • Broke advices and collections to the London Market where appropriate.
  • Obtain agreement to advices and collections via CLASS for ECF.
  • Liaise with accounts to ensure prompt payment of claims.
  • Ensure cash is posted and allocated correctly.
  • Produce accurate statistics and reports.
  • Handle market, client and internal queries.
  • Support general account handling tasks.
