Production Multi-Skilled Operator

What's this role all about?

We have a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Operator based primarily in the Production team.

You will assist with the manufacturing of our chocolate, operating machinery and overseeing Operatives.

We produce high quality chocolate products so you will work to high quality standards measured though quality checks, what our customers say, and taste panels. If you like chocolate you will be surrounded by it all day!

You will:

• Follow GMP practices, clean as you go and you'll help with line set up.
• Health and Safety is at the forefront of our operations and you will need to adhere to our standards.
• You will ensure Due Diligence is paperwork is completed on time and machinery is set up, run and adjusted to the required specification.
• You will conduct basic pre-planned maintenance techniques in line with machines requirements.
• Meet KPI's and work efficiently and effectively making an important contribution.

Our shifts are typically Monday - Thursday, 39 hours per week, 9 hours 45 minutes per shift, starting at 7am - 5.15pm.

At busy times we may require you to work overtime on a Friday or longer hours or, different hours/shifts in the week.

You need to be flexible to work these shifts and able to get to us - we are at PO20 7BT, Birdham Business Park!

We need you to:

• Have good physical stamina
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Be able to lift and move chocolate weighing up to 25kg
• Be reliable
• Be diligent
• Be methodical and thorough
• Be able to inspire and lead the team you are working with
• Deliver KPI's
• Be a clear communicator and collaborate with your team
• Ideally have manufacturing experience
