Job Description


We are working in partnership with an Electrical and Instrumentation subcontractors recruiting for an Instrument Technician to work on a Power Station in Southeast England on an initial 6 week contract.

The Instrument Technician role comes with a rate of 700 per day.
Key skills
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices
  • Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on control and instrumentation systems across LNG and power generation assets
  • Carry out loop checks, function testing, and support commissioning and start-up activities
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and control system documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with site safety standards, ATEX requirements, and permit-to-work systems within a COMAH environment
  • Work collaboratively within the E&I team, completing calibration records, test documentation, and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
