BODYSHOP QUALITY CONTROLLER

Bodyshop Quality Controller details:
Basic Salary: £30,000-£40,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Coventry

A busy and well-established accident repair centre is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Quality Controller to join their team.
For the Quality Controller role, ideally you will have experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment and take pride in delivering high standards of work. As a Quality Controller, you will need to be highly detail-oriented, organised, and confident liaising with workshop teams to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.

Responsibilities of a Quality Controller
Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards
Validate repair work for accuracy, quality, and safety compliance
Liaise with repair teams to rectify any issues identified during inspections
Conduct final quality assurance checks before vehicles are returned to customers
Ensure all work aligns with manufacturer specifications and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality checks
Collaborate with departments to uphold and improve quality standards

Skills and Qualifications of a Quality Controller
Previous experience in a similar role within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to review job cards and understand repair processes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
