Job Description
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, and industrial settings
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the location of wiring and equipment
- Install control panels, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician, engineer or completion of an apprenticeship program ( NVQ Level 3)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical condition with the ability to work in various environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces)
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent time management

Pay: £42,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
