We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join a progressive private dental practice in North Shields.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 8:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am to 3:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm

(Flexible full-time and part-time roles available, shift patterns discussed at interview)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparing treatment rooms and equipment prior to procedures
  • Assisting dentists chairside during a range of treatments
  • Maintaining strict infection control and decontamination standards
  • Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their visit
  • Keeping patient records accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
  • Working towards completion of a recognised dental nursing qualification

Skills and Requirements:

  • Enrolled on, or planning to enrol on, a dental nursing course
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Friendly, caring, and professional approach
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work well within a team
  • Genuine interest in dentistry and healthcare
  • Willingness to complete a dental nursing qualification

Previous chairside assisting experience is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided.
