About the Role:
As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will oversee the clinical operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and enhancing patient care. You will lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the nursing team to deliver exceptional care and maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and implement best practices in clinical governance.
Develop and execute effective risk management strategies to safeguard patient welfare.
Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and improve service delivery.
Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
Facilitate staff training and development to enhance team capabilities.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality standards are met.
Act as a key point of contact for patients, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in a nursing home setting.
Strong clinical expertise with an active nursing PIN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in team management and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in a fully supernumerary role.
Familiarity with advanced risk management techniques.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active PIN.
Advanced degree or certification in healthcare management preferred.
Previous experience in a deputy manager role is advantageous.
