Sales & Operations Manager -Perm - 60- 65k
A recently merged, market-leading engineering group is entering an ambitious growth phase, with clear plans to significantly scale turnover. With continued investment in systems, infrastructure and people, the business is strengthening its operational foundations to support long-term success.
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to design and embed a robust, integrated planning process across a mixed manufacturing environment (MTS, MTO and ETO). This role will align demand, supply, engineering capacity and financial plans to improve predictability, service levels and overall performance.
Key responsibilities for the successful Sales & Operations Manager
Lead and embed the monthly S&OP process
Align sales forecasts with operational and capacity plans
Identify constraints and drive cross-functional decision-making
Partner with Finance to link operational plans to revenue, margin and working capital
Track and improve key KPIs including forecast accuracy and OTIF
Enhance ERP planning parameters and data integrity
Skills & experience required of the Sales & Operations Manager
Proven S&OP or supply chain planning experience within engineering/manufacturing
Strong understanding of mixed production models and varied lead times
Demonstrated experience improving or implementing S&OP frameworks
Confident influencing senior stakeholders
Analytical, structured and commercially aware
