We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national provider of specialist children s services for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Children s Complex Care home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager or an aspiring leader ready to take the next step in their career within children s residential care. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-quality service that delivers safe, therapeutic and child-centred care.
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, management and development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people in care.
Minimum 2 years experience within children s residential care.
At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role within the last 5 years.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to enrol within 6 months).
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations.
Experience in team leadership, planning, organisation, resource management and budget oversight.
Confidence in written and verbal communication.
Understanding of trauma-informed care and supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Full UK driving licence.
