CAD Designer Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CAD Designer to join a growing manufacturing business based in Andover. This is a full- time permanent position. The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic design team and be responsible for designing components.Responsibilities as a CAD Designer:
- Designing components, schemes and special items for customer orders on AutoCAD.
- Working on live orders from receipt to production.
- Produce AutoCAD general arrangements and component drawings and CNC drawings.
- Project coordination of special jobs - this will involve documentation control, Bill of material control & checks, planning, liaising with other departments.
- Checking of special components and inspecting finished product.
- Produce drawings and clean orders in a timely manner.
- Being able to field enquiries on the phone and via email.
- Design related degree
- High competence and experience in AutoCAD - both 2D and 3D.
- High competence and experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Understanding of technical drawings, general arrangement, first angle projection and competency with manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to communicate by phone with customers, suppliers and external sales staff.
- Highly organised individual with attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Monday - Friday
- Starting salary of £27,000 - £28,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
- 9am - 5.30pm
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
