Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre financial planning professional to join a highly regarded, planning-led wealth management firm.

This role is ideal for a Chartered Adviser, or an ambitious individual close to achieving Chartered status, who is looking to step into a client-facing position working with high-net-worth individuals. You may currently be an Adviser, Senior Paraplanner, or Assistant Adviser ready to take the next step in your career.

The Opportunity

You will initially work alongside a Senior Chartered Adviser, supporting and gradually taking ownership of an established portfolio of clients. There is no requirement to bring clients, as relationships will be provided and transitioned to you over time.

Following induction, you will become a key member of the Advice Team, delivering high-quality, holistic financial planning to HNW clients with complex needs.

The role is based out of Cambridge, with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships
  • Deliver cashflow modelling and tailored financial strategies
  • Work collaboratively with paraplanning and client support teams
  • Gradually assume responsibility for an existing client bank
  • Maintain high standards of compliance and client service

About You

We are seeking individuals who combine strong technical capability with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be:

  • Chartered (Level 6), or progressing strongly toward Chartered status
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Experienced in financial planning, ideally with HNW clients (or strong desire to move into this space)
  • Professional, confident, and highly credible with clients
  • A strong communicator with excellent emotional intelligence and relationship-building ability
  • Ambitious, driven, and committed to continuous development

We will also consider high-potential candidates at Diploma level who are on a clear path toward Chartered status and can demonstrate maturity, confidence, and the ability to operate in a client-facing role.

What's on Offer

  • £70,000 - £90,000 base salary
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Exceptional benefits package
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office with flexibility around hours
  • Clear progression pathway into a lead advisory role
  • Access to an existing HNW client base (no business development requirement)
  • Close mentorship from a Senior Chartered Adviser
  • A professional, collaborative, and high-performing environment

This is a rare opportunity to join a firm where advice quality, client outcomes, and professional development are genuinely prioritised. You will be supported, challenged, and given a clear path to progress into a leading advisory role within a high-performing team.

If you are looking to elevate your career within a sophisticated, client-centric environment and work with high-quality clients without the pressure of business development, we would be keen to hear from you.
