MET Technician Required, in Derby

Duties:

• Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision
• Preparing vehicles to high standards for repair and handover
• Diagnosing faults accurately using diagnostic equipment
• Identifying and reporting additional repairs or work required
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues and Bodyshop Advisors
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an MET Technician within a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre environment
• Previous experience working on prestige or high-value vehicles (desirable)
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks
• Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and computer systems
• ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
