Are you a motivated Town Planner looking to develop your career in a supportive, specialist consultancy environment?
We're working with a highly respected independent planning consultancy to recruit a Town Planner into their Oxfordshire-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, expert-led practice known for delivering high-quality planning advice across residential, heritage, and rural development projects.

You'll be joining a collaborative team with a strong reputation for navigating complex planning challenges. The role offers hands-on involvement across a wide range of projects, giving you the chance to build your experience and progress your career in a dynamic and flexible environment.
This is ideal for someone who wants:
- Greater project ownership and client exposure
- A varied workload across residential and rural schemes
- Mentorship from experienced planning professionals
- A clear path toward MRTPI chartership (if not already achieved)
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
- Supporting on a wide range of development projects
- Conducting site appraisals and planning research
- Drafting planning statements and reports
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and consultants
- Supporting senior team members on complex projects
About You
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
- Working towards MRTPI or recently chartered
- Experience in a consultancy or local authority environment
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop professionally
