A leading food delivery company is seeking experienced van drivers to deliver groceries to customers on behalf of a high end supermarket chain. The depot is located in Greenford, West London. Three minutes from Greenford Tube Station on the Central Line.
The Role
- Delivering online grocery orders direct to customers homes. This includes responsibility for the accurate management of paperwork and any items returned by customers.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Other responsibilities include.
- Completing accurate vehicle safety checks
- Managing customer questions and any complaints in a professional manner
- Manual handling will be involved including the handling and transportation of alcoholic drinks and pork meat products
Requirements
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements.
- Must have held a UK Drivers License for a minimum of 12 months
- The license must enable you to drive a manual vehicles.
- You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no major endorsements
- You must be a good communicator and understand what great customer service is
- An enthusiastic and friendly personality will help you to progress in this role
- Previous delivery van driver experience is desirable but not essential for the role.
- You must be willing to handle alcohol and meat products
- For this role you must be available every Monday and Friday including weekend availability.
The Pay and benefits
- 14.42 per hour - this includes accrued holiday pay.

Shifts
- AM and PM shifts available
- 5 to 6 Days a week including every Monday & Friday.
- You will be expected to be available for weekends.
