Location: Hybrid (Home & Office Based)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

About the Company

Our client is leading contractor specialising in the design and delivery of synthetic sports facilities across the UK. Our projects support sports clubs, schools, and local authorities, delivering high-quality, sustainable facilities that benefit local communities.

Due to continued growth, our client are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join our commercial team.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of synthetic sports facility projects. You will work closely with the pre-construction, design, and delivery teams to ensure bids are commercially viable and aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for synthetic sports and related construction projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop competitive bids
• Support bid submissions and post-tender clarifications
• Maintain accurate records of pricing and cost data

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within construction (experience in sports facilities, groundworks, or civils is advantageous)
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Confident communicator with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Full UK driving licence
