MCG Recruitment are excited to support our business partner in finding a dedicated Head Chef for their care home. This is a unique opportunity to lead a supportive kitchen team and make a real difference every day.
The Role:

• Lead the kitchen, planning menus with nutritional balance and variety
• Prepare fresh, appetising, home-style meals for approximately 80 elderly residents
• Cater for dietary needs and preferences
• Inspire, train, and support kitchen staff to deliver excellent food consistently
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
• Work closely with care staff to ensure meals meet residents needs

About You:

• Passionate about creating quality, home-style meals
• Experienced chef (care home experience desirable, not essential)
• Confident in leading a team, menu planning, and nutrition
• Patient, dependable, and professional
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
