We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and well-established workshop in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a long-term, stable role with strong earning potential and career development.
This role is ideal for someone confident in diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs, working across a range of vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vans and cars
- Diagnosing faults and identifying effective repair solutions
- Completing mechanical and electrical work to a high standard
- Performing routine servicing, inspections and safety checks
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintaining accurate job cards and service records
- Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working in a workshop, garage or dealership environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, efficient and quality-focused
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferred but not essential)
