Job Title: Design Manager - Ground Engineering
Location: Kentish Town, London (Flexible UK Locations: Manchester, Cannock, Leeds, Glasgow)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Design Manager to lead design for piling, retaining walls, foundations, and other geotechnical solutions. You'll supervise junior engineers, liaise with construction teams, and deliver projects using innovative design standards, BIM and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design packages: piles, anchors, minipiles, secant shafts, retaining walls
• Geotechnical risk management, site investigation, and ground modelling
• Manage junior staff and mentor technical development
• Collaborate with construction and commercial teams
• Review monitoring reports and support handover

Candidate Requirements:

• MSc or Chartered in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology
• Experience in foundation and retaining wall design software, numerical modelling, and pile testing
• Project management experience and technical leadership
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
