Job Title: Estimator - Structural Steel Location: Wales - office based Salary: Up to 65,000 (depending on experience) About the Company We are a leading structural steel company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure. Role Overview As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the business in winning and delivering successful projects. You'll be working on large-scale structural steel packages and liaising closely with clients, design teams, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for structural steel projects. Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations. Evaluate technical documents to identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings. Prepare bills of quantities, budgets, and cost plans. Contribute to tender submissions and presentations. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the wider commercial team.
