The Role - Year 1 Teacher

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping pupils' early educational experiences, building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development. The successful Year 1 Teacher will deliver engaging, creative lessons that support all learners and foster a love of learning from the very start of their school journey.

What We're Looking For in a Year 1 Teacher

• A passionate and motivated Year 1 Teacher with QTS
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, including for pupils with SEND
• High expectations for pupil progress, behaviour, and achievement
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
• A reflective and adaptable teaching style

• Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons as a Year 1 Teacher
• Work collaboratively with a supportive staff team
• Identify and address gaps in learning to ensure strong pupil progress
