Optometrist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our practices in Dovercourt and Frinton. This role offers flexibility of up to 4 days per week, with the opportunity to work up to 5 days if you are open to supporting nearby branches. You will be working in well-equipped practices with access to modern technology, delivering high-quality eye care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with testing times of 30-45 minutes
  • Provide professional advice on eye health, vision care, and optical products
  • Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with professional standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

Team Development:

  • Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Share clinical knowledge and best practices with colleagues

About You:

  • Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a patient-first approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to travel to other branches if required
