Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Contract)

Location: Newark
Rate: £33 - £35.00 p/h
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights rotation 6:00 to 18:00 / 18:00 to 6:00)
Start Date: May

We re looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role with a strong electrical bias, supporting production through a mix of reactive and planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
• Support reactive breakdowns and PPM activities
• Work on 3-phase systems, motors, inverters, and control panels
• Assist with electrical installations and modifications
• Help improve machine reliability and efficiency

Requirements:

• Level 3 engineering qualification
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills (PLC knowledge beneficial but not essential)
• Experience working with 3-phase systems, drives, motors, and control equipment
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
• Heavy industry background (beneficial)

• 3 month rolling with likelihood to extend
