Private Client Lawyer

My client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Wills & Probate Lawyer to join their thriving Private Client department. Their Private Client team is a key part of the practice, advising a broad range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners with complex estate planning requirements.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and further develop the Wills & Probate department, mentoring and supporting junior lawyers and fee earners
• Manage a varied and high-quality caseload including Wills, LPAs, Probate and Court of Protection matters
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives
• Help expand the department's presence across London and the South East
• Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the firm as part of the senior leadership team

You will have:

• Significant experience in Private Client / Wills & Probate law, ideally with 2+ years PQE (more senior candidates are encouraged to apply)
• A strong track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships, including with high-net-worth clients
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to business development and firm growth
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the confidence to oversee a busy department
• Experience using LEAP case management software would be advantageous, although this is not essential
