TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with several private day nurseries located in Harrogate, only a 40 minute journey from Leeds City Centre. The staff are passionate about ensuring the best possible care and support for all children in attendance at the nurseries, working with the parents to ensure that the interests and well-being of the children are kept at the heart of their planning and day-to-day activities.
The nursery are currently searching for a passionate Nursery Assistant to help provide day-to-day cover each week. The successful applicant doesn t need to hold any existing childcare qualifications, but must be passionate about working with young children and eager to learn and develop their own skills. They must also have previous experience working within a Nursery / School setting. The position is flexible, with the successful Nursery Assistant able to pick which days they can cover each week. The successful Nursery Assistant will be hard-working and reliable, as well as able to work well within a team environment.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
- Be passionate about working with young children and able to create activities which are based on their interests and developmental needs
- Be eager to join a friendly and welcoming team
- Be willing to undergo training on current Safeguarding policies and procedures.
