The Opportunity
We're working with a well-established building services consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced BREEAM Assessor to join their sustainability team.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a wide range of sustainability and building performance projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams including building services engineers, building physicists, and digital design specialists.
The role offers strong exposure across multiple sectors and the chance to contribute to the delivery of low-carbon, high-performance buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver BREEAM assessments across a variety of projects
- Develop and implement early-stage sustainability and energy strategies
- Produce clear and detailed sustainability and environmental reports
- Collaborate with design teams to embed low-energy principles at concept stage
- Support delivery of energy and sustainability assessments, including:
- Embodied carbon and circular economy inputs
- Overheating and thermal comfort assessments
- Energy and infrastructure demand evaluations
- Contribute to client workshops and design team discussions
- Stay up to date with evolving UK regulations, standards, and best practice in sustainable design
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering BREEAM assessments independently
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations (Part L and related standards)
- Experience using tools such as One Click LCA and/or IES (advantageous)
- Background in building services, sustainability, environmental science, or similar
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
