The successful candidate will play a key role in managing ecological surveys, leading fieldwork, mentoring junior staff, and providing expert advice to clients. They will contribute to project design, reporting, and strategic environmental planning, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a range of ecological surveys and assessments
- Producing high-quality technical reports, including EcIA and protected species reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project management, including budgeting and timelines
- Mentoring and supporting junior ecologists
- Contributing to business development and tender opportunities
Requirements:
- Degree in Ecology or a related discipline
- Significant experience in ecological consultancy
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Protected species survey licences (desirable)
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
