Job Description

Military Injury Solicitor (2-8 PQE)

National Law Firm Highly Regarded Team Career-Defining Work

I'm currently working with a leading national law firm with a genuinely people-first culture, as they look to strengthen their highly regarded Military Injury Compensation team.

This is a standout opportunity for a personal injury or civil litigation solicitor who's looking to move into a specialist, high-profile area of law where the work is not only complex, but truly meaningful.

You'll be joining a nationally recognised team acting for service personnel and their families in life-changing claims against the Ministry of Defence. The work is varied and impactful, covering matters such as noise induced hearing loss, bullying and harassment, and serious injury claims.

You'll work closely with an exceptionally experienced senior solicitor (25+ years in the field), gaining exposure to high-value, complex litigation while also developing your own caseload.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing your own caseload of military injury claims from start to finish
  • Supporting on complex, high-value litigation
  • Working closely with a senior specialist in this niche area
  • Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the team
  • Delivering a high standard of client care in sensitive and often challenging cases

What they're looking for:

  • 2-8 years PQE with experience in personal injury, serious injury, or civil litigation
  • A genuine interest in claimant work and supporting vulnerable clients
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to manage your own workload
  • A team-focused mindset with good commercial awareness

Why consider this role?

  • Opportunity to specialise in a unique and rewarding area of law
  • Work alongside a recognised expert in military claims
  • Join a supportive, inclusive and collaborative culture
  • Be part of a firm that genuinely values flexibility and individual working styles
  • Clear scope for progression within a growing and successful team

Benefits - What They Can Offer You

  • 25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can 'buy' up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.
  • Generous and flexible pension schemes.
  • Volunteering days - Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid)
  • Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside their Digital GP services.

They also offer a wide range of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace and to make sure you're fully supported.? This includes a programme which gives their colleagues more choice over a hybrid way of working subject to role, team and client requirements.

If you're looking for a role where you can develop your expertise, work on high-quality matters, and make a real difference to clients' lives, this is well worth a conversation.
