Role: Night Shift HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Fleet Technician
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 20 00
Pay: £50,(Apply online only) £56,(Apply online only) per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Night Shift HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Fleet Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Portsmouth. The Role:
• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently
• Perform inspections, MOT prep, and compliance checks
• Maintain accurate job cards and service records
• Use diagnostic and workshop tools effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure workshop productivity
• Participate in ongoing technical training

The Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Fleet Technician
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Desirable: HGV Class 1 licence, IRTEC accreditation, dealer-level diagnostics experience
