Intervention Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Lambeth Role: Intervention Teaching Assistant Start Date: ASAP Location: Lambeth - nearest station Oval Contract: Full-time, long-term Daily Rate: £90-£110 per day About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a proactive Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role will focus on delivering targeted support to pupils in Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) , helping to raise attainment in core subjects and ensure every child makes progress. The successful Intervention Teaching Assistant will work with small groups and individual pupils, supporting learning, building confidence, and helping children overcome barriers to success. Key Responsibilities Deliver intervention sessions in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas. Support LKS2 pupils through one-to-one and small group work. Track and monitor pupil progress alongside the class teacher. Adapt activities and strategies to meet individual learning needs. Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and independence. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as an Intervention Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum. Ability to deliver structured interventions to improve attainment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A patient, organised, and proactive approach. Why Apply?
