Job Description

Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Manchester based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Compliance Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of payroll operations, ensuring that all processes adhere to current legislation, tax regulations, and internal audit standards. This is a critical role focused on reducing payroll errors, managing risk, and maintaining the highest standards of data security. This position offers hybrid working.

Key responsibilities and skills required:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and tax procedures
  • Motivate a small team to maintain a strong team morale
  • Investigating payroll incidents, whilst providing and implementing recommendations to improve processes
  • Undertake internal payroll audits
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes whilst maintain best practices
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on complex matters
  • Produce various reports for senior management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
