We are now recruiting for a Production Scheduler to support us in maintaining and supporting our forward-looking scheduling function for all products.
You will interact with Cell Leaders to ensure On-time Delivery across the business and ensure all of the relevant processes and procedures are adhered to.
Additionally, as our Production Scheduler, you will:
• Be involved in order inputting, liaising with Sales on delivery dates, agree delivery dates prior to Order Input
• Interact between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions
• Maximise use of the order management system and ensure visibility of all orders
• Produce and publish metrics as required
• Maximise our Shipping Performance and achieves our On-time Delivery Goals
• Take ownership of, and plan all products through Manufacturing Cells
• Identify critical items and issues, and resolve them
• Investigate available capacity vs. likely load
• Support function for team members in production and purchasing during absences
This role involves travel to client sites. While most work will be carried out from your usual base, you may be required to attend client meetings, site visits, or events as part of your duties. Travel will be planned in advance wherever possible, and all reasonable expenses will be covered.
In order to be successful in this role it s essential that you have / are:
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to make decisions within guidelines and take responsibility for these is essential
• Ability to meet time frames and work under pressure is important
• Good analytical and numeracy skills
• Strong systems and Excel knowledge
• Degree educated or qualified by experience
It would be great if you had:
• ERP planning experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Previous exposure working in a manufacturing and assembly organisation
