As Conveyancing Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Property Lawyers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations while building a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.

You will act as a key leader within the department, setting the standard for performance and behaviours, and leading by example. A significant part of your role will involve coaching, mentoring and developing your team to achieve their full potential, using structured performance management tools and development plans to drive consistent improvement.

You will also oversee workloads, monitor performance against SLAs, and ensure that quality, productivity and compliance standards are consistently met. Alongside this, you will manage performance issues when required, handle escalations, and support your team through regular one-to-ones, training and ongoing development.

Working closely with senior operations leaders, you will contribute to change initiatives and help embed new processes across the department, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will collaborate across internal teams and liaise with third parties to ensure a seamless service for clients.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive conveyancing experience and a proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams within a busy legal environment. You will be confident, organised and highly motivated, with a genuine passion for leadership and coaching others to succeed.
