Maintenance Assistant

We're recruiting a temporary Maintenance Assistant/Handy Person for our manufacturing client in Bristol. This is an ongoing temporary role assisting the engineering function with tasks across the site that are not on the automated machinery. This is a good opportunity to commence an ongoing contract with an employer of choice.

The Person:

• Experienced working in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Industry qualifications.
• Would suit: Maintenance Assistant, Handyman/Handy-person, Semi-skilled fitter or Service Technician.

The Role:

• Hanging of signs.
• Basic plumbing across site.
• Basic painting, for safety areas.
• Door hanging.
• Filling of holes across centre of excellence.
• Engineering workshop cleaning/housekeeping.
• Changing light bulbs.

This role is flexible with start and finish times, the ideal for the client would be 8am until 4pm but, there is opportunity to negotiate earlier starts and finishes.
