Epilepsy support - 1:1 Support (Epilepsy Trained) Tower Hamlets Full Time Immediate Start A primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a confident SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil requiring additional support , including epilepsy awareness and monitoring . This role is ideal for someone calm, patient and experienced working with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation . Requirements: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker Epilepsy training with hands-on experience supporting a pupil with seizures Strong understanding of SEMH needs and behaviour management Ability to stay calm and respond quickly in medical situations Experience providing 1:1 support within a classroom or specialist setting A proactive and resilient attitude Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 classroom support to a pupil with SEMH needs Monitoring and supporting a pupil with epilepsy in line with the care plan Supporting the pupil's emotional regulation and engagement in learning Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Implementing behaviour strategies and positive reinforcement Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the pupil at all times If interested, please send your CV.
