Summary of duties Receive deliveries and returns from suppliers and customers at the loading bay. Load and unload items such as boxes, packages, cages, and pallets using manual handling equipment. Check the quantity and quality of goods against the ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) or purchase order. Prepare goods for storage and book them into the warehouse management system. Locate and put away incoming goods in designated warehouse storage zones. Pick and assemble customer orders from various warehouse locations using radio data terminals and picking lists. Prepare customer orders for delivery by packaging and labelling cartons and pallets/chemicals for safe and secure transportation. Sort customer orders into designated outbound routes on the dispatch bay according to the assigned loading sequence.
