Tradewind are working with Primary Schools across the Dartford area and are recruiting for passionate and dedicated a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with children with Special Educational Needs. We work with a range of schools, from large multi-form entry Primary schools with specialist provisions dedicated to supporting children with specific SEN needs, to smaller schools where the support is more targeted to an individual pupil, helping them in their school journey. The Role Working primarily with children as an SEN Teaching Assistant, both on a 1:1 basis and with smaller groups. SEN needs themselves range from SEMH, ASD, ADHD and Behavioural Needs. Assessing students' progress and discussing development with Teachers, Parents/Carers, and external agencies if necessary. Undertaking CPD if the role requires it, in which you will be accredited for. Requirements Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant would be highly desirable. Holding a L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desirable but not essential. Experience working with children with SEN within an education, pastoral, or personal setting would be highly desirable Either have, or be willing to get, an enhanced DBS on the update service.
