Responsibilities and duties of the High Voltage Commissioning Technician role Reporting to the Project Manager you will: Work alongside senior engineers in the testing and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems (up to 132kV and above). Contribute to site operations by assisting with equipment setup, safety procedures, and project documentation. Develop hands-on skills in primary and secondary injection testing as well as protection relay testing. Support the preparation of RAMS, ITPs, and detailed commissioning reports Take part in structured training and gain exposure to SCADA systems, fibre optics, and HV switching practices. Be prepared to travel to project sites across the UK. . Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar discipline).
