What You'll Be Doing: Working across a varied range of sites and clients, your day-to-day will include: Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264 Carrying out reinspection audits of existing asbestos surveys Air monitoring and inspection services on asbestos removal projects Supervising asbestos removal works Representing Bradley Environmental professionally, delivering specialist advice and consultancy to clients No two days are the same and that's exactly how our team likes it. An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join a well-established building services contractor delivering full design and build solutions across a range of sectors. This role is suited to a commercially aware and technically capable professional with a strong background in managing mechanical installation projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities Oversee mechanical services installation projects from initial handover through to final accounts Procure plant, materials, and subcontractor packages, ensuring best value Monitor and forecast project costs using internal systems and Excel Plan, manage, and control labour resources and associated costs Conduct regular site visits to ensure progress, quality, and programme targets are met Deliver projects in line with contractual and commercial objectives Prepare monthly applications for payment and manage variations Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including preparation of RAMS Produce work-in-progress reports for senior management Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, surveyors, and internal teams Attend project and technical meetings Support tender submissions and bid processes Compile certification and O&M manuals Build strong client relationships and respond to customer needs Requirements Proven experience managing mechanical installation projects ( 1.5M+ value) Strong background in Mechanical Engineering within commercial, industrial, or public sector environments Solid understanding of HVAC systems Strong knowledge of mechanical services project management and associated commercial processes Excellent leadership and people management skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercially aware with a proactive approach Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) CAD experience (desirable but not essential) About You You will be a motivated and organised professional, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and profitability. This is a hybrid role, offering varied residential, commercial and industrial development projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Public Sector Clients. You will be supported by an experienced and dynamic team and have the chance network with Clients across London and attend Company Events including sporting events and skiing trips across Europe. As an MEP Engineer you will complete electrical (electrical cabling and lighting) and mechanical (HVAC) designs for major residential, offices, retail, industrial and mixed-use development projects across Scotland. You will also complete on-site Pre-acquisition and Vendor Surveys for Commercial Clients. You will be supported to complete; - 3D design of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design using AutoCAD and Revit. -Cabling and lighting designs using Dialux, Relux and Amtech. -Design to BIM level 2 in accordance with British Standards PAS 1192-5. -Create to scale surveys of existing buildings. -Create feasibility and condition reports for future works and liaise with Construction staff, Design Engineers, Architects and Surveyors for on-going projects. -Risk Assessments and cost plans for buying/selling assets. -Run clash detection for designs and attend site visits and surveys across the region. -Site visits with Clients to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
