Role Purpose: To assist in the assessment of incoming streetworks permit applications, review the potential impact and coordinate the works , to minimise disruption and reduce congestion on the public highway in accordance with the legislative requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), as amended by the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA), in association with the requirements of the South East Permit Scheme. Your New Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our SGM Account in Dumfries on a 6-month fixed-term basis . Our Scottish Grounds Maintenance Account works in partnership with other Amey accounts to internally deliver grounds maintenance services. Our primary work stream involves the delivery of grounds maintenance services on behalf of our facility management colleagues in Secure Infrastructure. This work involves all the planned grounds maintenance activities across 70 school sites nationally.
