This is primarily a workshop-based role, with occasional local field service work using a company van. The role would suit someone with mechanical or plant maintenance experienc e who enjoys working with heavy machinery in a varied and hands-on position. Hours and Rates of pay Monday to Friday 7:00am 6:00pm From 40K per hour DOE Based at the Avonmouth HQ Own transport required Key Responsibilities Washing and preparing machines General yard duties Operating a forklift (training can be provided) Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance Machine repairs and fault finding Investigate equipment issues Carrying out engine, transmission, and hydraulic repairs Occasional local field service work About you Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions Forklift experience beneficial (training available) Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team Experience of Hydraulics and working with plant hire.
