We are seeking a skilled and dependable Shift PSV Bus & Coach Technician to join our team in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire . You will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and roadworthiness of our modern fleet of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs), including buses and coaches. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and repairs on PSV vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults. Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring compliance with DVSA safety and maintenance standards. Complete all relevant paperwork accurately, including job cards and inspection reports. Adhere to all health & safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Attend to urgent vehicle breakdowns or repairs during shift hours when required. Communicate additional defects or issues promptly to the Engineering Manager or Engineering Project Manager. Contribute to continuous improvement in workshop practices and operational efficiency. Requirements NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or related field. Proven experience maintaining PSVs, coaches, buses, or HGVs. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, suspension, braking, and electrics. Ability to work effectively on both early and late shifts. Full UK Driving Licence required ( Category D preferred but not essential). IRTEC accreditation desirable (or willingness to obtain it). High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality. Working Conditions Shift-based workshop role: Early: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Late: 4:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight Occasional off-site work for breakdowns and urgent repairs. ADAS Test Technician (992) Location: Cranfield Pay: Tech E+ £19.67 per hour 5-day working week in the office, normal hours are (8:00-17:00 Mon-Thu & 8:00-13:20 Fri) We are recruiting for a ADAS Test Technician for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years. Key Responsibilities of the ADAS Test Technician: • Preparation / building / maintenance of vehicles, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems in line with local procedures and the clients Engineering Manuals. • Support Testing in dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results. • Support Evaluation and concern identification including liaison with Test Engineer. • Support delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the section • Use skills to provide support to other sections as required. Vehicle preparation, instrumentation, test, and validation of function & operation: • Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, & maintenance techniques. • UK license holder with 3 years experience, preferably LHD /European driving experience.
