We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality metal components and assemblies. Shift patterns 7:30-4:30pm Mon-thur and 7:00-4pm Fri Salary depending on experience. Duties Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately fabricate parts according to project requirements. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise during fabrication. Requirements Proven experience in TIG welding, Stick welding, and general fabrication techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to metalworking. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex assembly processes. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to maintaining safety standards and quality control throughout all stages of production.
