What s on Offer: £13.6 per hour Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 3pm Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided 26 days of paid annual leave (pro rata for part-time), rising to 30 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays (After probation) Opportunities for progression Employee discounts via a rewards app, offering savings on major retailers, restaurants, attractions, and more (After Probation) Health and wellbeing support, including free eye tests, flu vaccinations, and access to a 24/7 employee assistance helpline (After Probation) Pension scheme with a 3% employer contribution (4% after probation) Group task and finish system A chance to support your local community by becoming a key worker Key Responsibilities: Collecting refuse and recyclables from properties across the Stroud area Working efficiently as part of a team to deliver high-quality services Following health and safety regulations while performing daily tasks What You ll Need: A basic understanding of refuse and recycling operations, with a willingness to learn Previous experience working with mobile or static plant and equipment (advantageous but not required) Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Good physical fitness, with the ability to walk 8-10 miles a day and lift heavy objects
