The ideal candidate will currently be a Branch Manager within the merchant sector with a proven track record of growing and sustaining a profitable operation. Passion and determination will be a pre-requisite in order maintain the strong business relationships already in place and to help build up a pipeline of new customers too. Basically, the branch's position is good but they don't want to be static in terms of market share. This is an important branch, therefore you will have various departmental managers beneath you but ultimately you will take responsibility for maximising the potential sales and overall profitability of the Branch. It goes without saying that candidates will have to possess a demonstrable track record in sales, negotiation and stock control. The sales and the operations of the branch will be under your control. You should be able to use market intelligence and analyse stock profiles as well as sales trends to anticipate future directions.
